2017 Registration

Scholarships are available to those who qualify.  We have limited scholarships funds available.  You must complete the scholarship application and return it by the last registration date.  Scholarships are given on a first come, first served basis and are NEED based.  No one will receive a full scholarship, but we will help to the capacity we can.
One of the most iron clad rules of TYFSF is that our football players and cheerleaders must have up-to-date physicals before they step foot on the practice field.  This is an insurance requirement that is NEVER waived.  Turning the paperwork on time is important, but...



Every registered player is required to have their parent/guardian work a shift in the snack bar.  There is a maximum of two shifts per family.  A buyout of $50 per player, up to 2 players is available at registration.  If you do not "buyout",you must write a $75 deposit check that will NOT be cashed, unless you do not show for your shift. If you do not show up for your shift, your $75 deposit check will be cashed.  Please call Debbie Walkovich if you have any questions or scheduling conflicts.  All registered personnel will have their check returned to them AFTER they become certified coaches.  EVERYONE is required to write a deposit check at registration.

The Registration Fee only makes a dent in what it costs to outfit and field a football and cheerleaders.  The cost of the equipment is much more than the registration fee and includes certified helmets, all pads, practice uniforms and game uniforms.  ​**All equipment/uniforms are on loan and must be returned at the end of the season.  The better the equipment is cared for, the less fund-raising and more travel we can do as an organization each year.

​* Cheer has an additional "spirit package" which includes: shoes, uniform, etc.  Prices vary and all information will be      available at registration.

** 2017 Football Jersey is included in the price for football sign up.

Click on the link below to complete online registration.  Once you have made PAID ARRANGEMENTS your childs place on a team is secured.  Be sure to choose Cowboys as your preferred organization when registering online, otherwise your application will not be accessible to us.  
Registration for the Tanque Verde Cowboys ​begins in April and ends in July each year.  Teams fill up quickly so it is always in your best interest to register early.  Every participant must complete online registration AND come to a physical registration.  The following needs to be brought to a physical registration.  Your participant is NOT fully registered until they have completed the online registration process, turned in the below items and paid in full.
  • ​Certified Birth Certificate​
  • ​Physical (must be after January 01 of current year)​​
  • Report card for the full year​
